Build Update from Maine

Well, this is more like it. A visit to Sabre Yachts in Maine without freezing temperatures, snow on the ground and having to wear my winter coat and gloves! What a difference a few months can make. And with daytime temps in the 70's in Portland right now, it feels great to get out of the central Florida heat and humidity for a few days.

Prior to coming back to check on things, we spent a lot time on the phone, on the computer and on the drawing board fine tuning the custom design we have been working on. Now that "Endless Summer" is in full production mode, there is lots to see in terms of progress, components and details.

What is most amazing to me is all the "parts" being built in the different areas of the factory that will eventually come together in once place to be our boat. Fiberglass shop, wood shop, router shed, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, not to mention all of the detailed engineering and design drawings that accompany it.

While "Endless Summer" is still in the early stages of construction, this last trip was critical in that things are now in full swing.
